Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has reshaped the global healthcare
landscape, placing nurses at the forefront of crisis
response. As they adapted to surges in patient volumes and
resource shortages, nurses expanded their roles, taking on
critical responsibilities in crisis management, telehealth,
and public health education. This editorial reflects on how
these transformative changes underscore the adaptability and
resilience of nursing professionals, highlighting their crucial
contributions during the pandemic and exploring the lasting
impact these innovations may have on the future of nursing
practice and education.
