Abstract

Nursing research is a fundamental driver of global healthcare improvement, supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care across diverse healthcare systems. As health systems worldwide confront increasing disease burden, workforce challenges, and health inequities, the role of nursing research has become increasingly critical. Nurses, as the largest and most continuously present group of healthcare professionals, are uniquely positioned to identify clinical priorities, generate practice-relevant evidence, and translate research findings into improved health outcomes.
